Very casual dining. It's clean and friendly. Delicious food! It's pretty much a fried menu, so your diet is going out the window. But what the heck...have the Alaskan Walleye platter. It's worth it! Good prices and service too.

This is really, really good fish. I've been three times in as many weeks. I've tried catfish and carp- both are great. I have some tips though... Don't get the half & half (catfish/carp) mix... You get less fish than when you just stick to one kind, and they charge you an extra $2 for doing it. Also skip "1/2" portions. I tried this for lunch and while I got half as much food, the price only dropped from $10 to $8. $2 can of pop also took me by surprise. But I go back, and will continue to do so because it's really good and fresh!

Good seafood that's not too expensive. Casual atmosphere that feels more fast food than sit down restaurant, but that does not subtract from the quality of what they serve. It's made to order and extremely yummy. Definitely like it better than Joe Tess

Based on recommendations from two fellow Yelpers, 'Alyssa' Lyss and 'Tutti' Frutti, tonight I decided to give Mo Fish a try. As said by Florida Evans on Good Times, Damn Damn Damn!!!!!! It was absolutely delicious and hands down the best I've had in my short time here in Omaha. For appetizers we ordered fried okra and fried pickle spears and our entrees consisted of catfish and beans for me and walleye and cole slaw for the Mrs. The appetizers arrived piping hot and I was glad to see that they use a thin batter instead of flour or corn meal.....at least that's how it appeared to me. I would be remiss if I didn't warn you that you get A LOT of food and I'm just talking about the appetizers! By the time the entrees arrived, I had already downed 15 okra pieces and two pickle spears. I was just warming up! The entrees arrived and I dug in with a vengeance! The fish was plentiful, hot, and fresh! My wife, although far less glutinous, abandoned the diva persona and went straight sista girl.......hot sauce and all! Everything was great but she gave special props to the cole slaw; she's picky about slaw. I tried it and couldn't agree more! The beans and steak fries were also a standout. To top it all off Trent, the owners son, epitomizes the definition of EXCELLENT customer service. He was personable, genuine, and a confident advocate for what Mo Fish has to offer compared to the competition. I'm definitely a fan and can't wait to have leftovers tomorrow for lunch!

I don't get the rave reviews. It wasn't bad but sure as hell wasn't special. I would rather go to shucks any day. They have way more dishes to choose from. It's a hole in the wall joint which is totally fine with me but don't charge 3.75 for Busch light. I hate that.

3 for 3 Great every time. I'm from Mississippi and this is what it taste like at home trust me. Red Devil in my opinion is the best and when I seen that I knew it was about to be good, and man was I right.

This is a great little family owned spot that serves some killer walleye. It is lightly breaded in a cornmeal type coating and always comes out fresh and hot. If you are in the mood for fish give em a shot.

Great place for fish dinners. Atmosphere makes you think you are in the south. Definitely a must try if you like fish.

The tastiest catfish in the area (including Omaha). I too wish they didn't use disposable plates and utensils. It's soooo waste full. I do frequent this restaurant and will continue to enjoy all of the fried indulgences. I know not to go on those two or three days I'm watchin' my weight. Like my sis says -- "Mo Fish is the perfect name, cause after you taste the fish you want mo'!"

I like Mo Fish. I go here when I'm not in the mood to cook fish at home. I have been here over 10 times and maybe only one meal was not that great. A lot of people are not a fan of carp but, I am and I LOVE theirs because it's crispy, seasoned well on the outside and succulent and juicy in all the right places! Catfish is pretty good. I have not tried the frog legs or shrimp but, my brother liked 'em when he came in town. The sides may give you sticker shock at first BUT, they give you sooo much that you have to share. My favorite side is the fried okra. Their fries are seasoned well My least favorite are the bake beans. They are worse than Time Out bake beans. If you get a chance eat in instead of carry out. It kind of has a Grumpys R.I.P. feel to it but, with fish nets and dollars on the wall. Unlike Joe Tess their carp does not taste like MUD and it's much more economical!

I've heard great things about this place and I was excited to try it, especially the Walleye and Catfish. Arrived 30 mins to closing time about 2 weeks ago, and the door was closed locked. I could still see people sitting inside eating. Ugh, why would you close the store 30 mins prior to stated closing time on the door. I hope it was to prepare for a special holiday, someone's vacation, hugh-mongous order, or something remotely important, rather than lazy workers trying to finish early on a weekday. Totally bummed/disappointed.

Decent priced but last 2 times fish was overcooked.

Excellent catfish, Service friendly but not the best on follow up, had to ask for refills on drinks - they never followed up to see if it was needed. Paper plates and plastic forks - one of my pet peeves, I like real plates and metal forks. Did I say great catfish? Will be back!
